My Robe

There are varying levels when you cruise, red, gold, platinum, emerald, diamond, etc:. At Each level you get extra benefits. We have cruising buddies that cruise almost as much as we do. Last year my friend’s comment was she couldn’t wait until next time because she would be platinum and she would get a robe to wear. Well, somehow we reached platinum status before she did and we teased her about MY robe. Also, I went with the family on a cruise in March and I told the state room steward; “I want my robe, I’m platinum!” Well, there were jokes about that comment all cruise. The other day I got a text from my daughter and a picture from her husband that said; Ellie says she is platinum and she got her robe. She was wearing an oversized robe. I will never live that comment down and especially the way I had said it. I was so proud I had attained “Robe” status!.

You know, there is a much better “Robe” status and it comes with a Crown as well as walking on streets of gold, no more pain, no more sickness, no more disappointment, no more discouragement, no more tears, no more sorrow. Want to know what you have to do to reach that level? Accept Jesus as your personal Savior and you get all that and more.

There is a song that talks about wearing a Robe and Crown; it says:

Watch ye, therefore, you know not the day, when the Lord shall call your soul away. If you’re fighting, striving for the right, you shall wear a robe and crown. I’m gonna wear a crown, gonna wear a crown, when the trumpet sounds, when the trumpet sounds. Just as soon as my feet strike Zion, gonna lay down my heavy burden, put on my robe in Glory, gonna shout and tell the glad story, sit down beside King Jesus, tell Him how I made it over. We shall wear a robe and crown.

How much better would attaining that Robe be? How awesome to sit down at the feet of Jesus and listen to His story and tell Him your story and how much you thank Him for His amazing grace. And my friends, just like the song says, you don’t know the day or time when you will be called away when your life will be over, so don’t have Him say; ‘No robe for you, your name is not in the Lamb’s Book of Life, you did not attain “Robe status”.

Claim your Robe and Crown today, don’t miss out on not even one blessing. Tell Jesus you love Him and accept His gift of salvation, eternal life and wear that Robe and Crown proudly!
