God Bless The Christian Today
With all the violence in the world these days,
the bombings in different places, fear seems to be a wall. Children are afraid
to go to school, people are afraid of flying and going to airports, people are
afraid to go to Disney World. There is evil around us, but God did not give us a
spirit of fear. We can not allow Satan and his henchmen to rule our lives. It
does not mean that nothing bad can happen to us, but you can be sure of where
your eternity will be. To live is Christ and to die is Christ. This song was
written for Americans and why the flag is a symbol of freedom. With the multiple
terrorist actions that have happened lately in this century, no country seems to
be safe or immune. I have changed the words of this song for Christians
everywhere. If you have accepted Christ who gave His life for you, because God
our father loves you very much and He gave His son in sacrifice for all of us
and for your sins you can have freedom, no matter in which state of this country
or any other country you live in. No matter what comes against you, you can know
that you have freedom, love and that you can live in peace in your heart.
God Bless the Christian Today 7-2-2018
If tomorrow all the things were gone I'd worked for all my life,
and I had to start again with just my Bible and my life,
I'd thank my God above to be living here today,
Because the Cross still stands for freedom
And Satan can't take that away.
And I'm proud to be a Christian where at least I KNOW I'm free.
And I won't forget the Man who died who gave that gift to me.
And I'd gladly stand up, next to you and confess Him still today.
Because there ain't no doubt I love my God.
God bless the Christian today.
From the lakes of Minnesota, to the shores of Miami,
From Iceland to Australia, From sea to shining sea,
From the Arctic to Antarctica and New York down to LA
there's hope and joy in every Christian heart
and it's time we stand and say
That I'm proud to be a Christian
Where at least I KNOW I'm saved.
And I won't forget the Man who gave, His life to set me free
And I'd gladly stand up, next to you and confess Him still today
Cause there ain't no doubt I love my God.
God Bless us all today!
Sung to the tune of; "God Bless the USA!" by Lee Greenwood
