Are You Really Free?

Hebrew 9:22 “And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.”

FREEDOM…REALLY? Only those that God has set free are free indeed! God required a spotless lamb to be slain each year to atone for the sins of Israel. That sacrifice only lasted a year and another sacrifice had to be made. But now God calls all people everywhere to repent of their sins. “Come now and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” Isa 1:18 (KJV) We are in bondage if we have not been forgiven of our sins and serving the Lord daily….Are you free?

The preached gospel reveals the good news of the way of Salvation to the world. Romans 10:9 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (KJV)

Christ died once and for all for the sins of the world and has given all a new heart and new life but as Christians we must help one another daily walk out this new life and share it with others that have not yet seen the light of the Gospel. Christ commanded “Teach all nations… to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you.” Matt 28:19-20 It is only by the blood of Jesus do we have this opportunity to share with others. His sacrifice was perfect as described in Romans and provides the saints this great and wonderful privilege of sharing the Good News. We look all around at hurting people, read the headlines and hear the news it seems as though times are not getting better but heading on a down-ward spiral. Is this the time of the coming of the Lord? Are you ready? We should be ready at any hour, minute or second. Everyone is only a breath away from being in the presence of the Lord.

This summer when visitors come our way on the way to the beach, Disney World, or drop in to see relatives lets be prepared to share the Gospel in love. Invite them to worship with you at The Caring Church and pray the Lord of the Harvest to touch their hearts. This vacation could change their lives for eternity. Church, get ready, get ready, get ready. You are loved!
