Revival
Let’s start praying for a spirit of revival and a soul saving campaign to break forth at Northwest! Scheduled revival services are on the calendar for October 2nd-4th with Evangelist, Pastor and anointed Singer Greg Richie. However, we need more than a calendar revival which is just a series of scheduled services. We need an old fashion outpouring of the Holy Spirit and that only comes by fasting, praying and crying out to God for lost souls and needs in the body. I believe people hungered for a revival of sanctification in 1886, 1896 and until 1906 when the Baptism of the Holy Spirit was poured out in the foothills of Tennessee, North Carolina and California. God wants to bless a people who will hunger and thirst after righteousness. When revival came to the Church of God in 1896 it was recorded “Lives that had been disorderly became upright; men who had been violent became meek; drunkards quit their drinking and gamblers their gambling.” NW needs that kind of revival. I encourage you to start now in the month of September and pick a day to fast, pray, and call out to God for a mighty move that will stir the heart of Once a Week Church Attendees, Bench Warmers, Non-tithers, and Lost souls above all else.” I capitalize their names for surely they are classified as nouns and have distinctive names. Let’s bind together and bathe September with Prayer. You are covered with my prayers; I love you.
