Matthew 9:37, 38

I Chronicles 4:9, 10

Our future depends on the Lord; His favor and guidance is a must.  How shall we proceed?  Only by His mercy and grace.  We have come this far by faith and we must continue by not depending on sight alone.  Summer harvesters are needed; people to bring in the crops and fill the pews with ears to hear and hearts to receive the Word.  New souls are our goal, fresh anointing our need.  When we pray, our objective is to find favor with God and man.  Pray the Word out loud and meditate on what you hear.

What can we do to promote the cause of Christ and fill this building God has provided?  Pray and volunteer to be reapers in the year around harvest.  The Word says the harvest is great but laborers are few.  Be on the lookout to invite and befriend new people; be sensitive to the needs of others; get acquainted with your neighbors, those that work in the grocery store and at the gas pumps, go out of your way to bless someone other than your friends at church; expand your personal vision and work toward that vision, stir up the gifts of God within you and seek His face.  We can take the vision and prayer of Jabez as our own and expand our tent pegs to a different level of growth.  Prayerfully acknowledge our needs, band together in prayer and expect special help from the Lord.  Our future depends on God and our relationship with Him!  Summer is swiftly coming to an end and before we know it fall will be here; vacations will end, children will go back to school and everyone will settle down to their scheduled lifestyle. Let’s take advantage of “lives getting back to normal” and thrust in the spiritual sickle to reap a harvest!  Thank you for being faithful this summer in worship attendance, giving of God’s tithe and your offerings.  You are loved!

Love and prayers,

~ Pastor Roberts
