Revival
Revival still springs from preaching the Word of God. October 18th begins our kick-off for Fall Revival services. Our Evangelist for the occasion is Pastor Anthony McDaniel from Largo Abundant Life Ministries. Make plans now to attend nightly and bring someone with you.
According to Webster the definition of revival is, “The action or an act of reviving something, bringing or coming back into; restoring to vigor or activity, returning to life or consciousness, stirring up of religious faith by fervid evangelistic preaching at public meetings or a series of meetings with public confession of sins and professions of renewed faith.” That is revival in a nutshell! Even Mr. Webster knew that revival brings renewed lives and renewed faith in Christ Jesus.
Revival aids putting new life back into those who have allowed their spiritual experience to grow cool, or to begin to ebb out a little at a time, and to bring lost souls into the Kingdom. The day in which we are living is not a time to cool off but to fire up! Our families, our nation, our leaders and our lost friends and neighbors need us to be that bright burning spiritual light for them. We need revival, our families need revival, our leaders need revival, our nation needs revival, and most of all we need revival!
Let’s seek His face, humble ourselves and ask largely of the Lord to send great showers of blessings, healings and anointing power during our up-coming revival.
